Director Mentor Quality Initiative

The goal of this initiative is to improve the quality of childcare in Arkansas by increasing the number of centers achieving Quality Approval status.

Experienced directors of Quality Approved programs serve as mentors to directors of programs who are working toward approval. Training is provided for mentors. Self-study guides and resource materials based on the Environmental Rating Scale are provided for directors and their mentors. The project is designed for infant/toddler, preschool, and family child care programs.
